We have set up a varied day trip programme for individual day trips, with the departure points at Hoofddorp and Aalsmeer. In consultation it is also possible to request a different departure point.

Ladies Day Boskoop

Tuesday, Feb. 25

We drive to Boskoop and visit Van Der Kloostermode.

Today is the first day of the fashion show, so also the first day that we can see all of the new spring/summer collection. This business has been providing fashion presentations for our 50-plus target group for many years. Upon arrival you will receive coffee and cake from the local pastry shop and in the afternoon a fully catered lunch.

After lunch there will be another bingo with fun prizes.

On this day there will be sales and interesting offers of the winter collection.

Mauritshuis The Hague

Wednesday, March 26

In the heart of The Hague stands the Mauritshuis. A small world-class museum with an extraordinary collection of world-famous Dutch and Flemish 17th-century painting. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people visit this museum from all over the world. All to admire masterpieces such as the 'Girl with the pearl earring' by Johannes Vermeer in real life.

Around noon we will have lunch at Hotel Noordzee. After lunch you will have free time in Katwijk aan Zee.

Dutch Open Air Museum

Wednesday, April 30 and Friday, May 2

Today we drive to Arnhem and visit a beautiful museum.

Upon arrival, we will have a cup of coffee/tea with cake together and then we will take a streetcar tour.

Get to know stories, traditions, objects, plants and people from then and now. See craftsmen at work, from miller or blacksmith to printer and conductor. You will become part of history yourself: you will literally step right into the middle of it.

Museum The Village Doctor

Wednesday, May 14 and Friday, May 16

Today we visit Museum The Village Doctor.

Before 1800, medicine was the work of the medicinal doctor and the barber-surgeon. The fine apothecary's cabinet was built in 1786 and stood at the Butter Market in Heusden. It is an exuberantly decorated wall cabinet in Empire style with turned wood, lots of gold leaf, with no fewer than 92 drawers on which the contents are described in Latin inscriptions.

It may be noted that 10 of the 92 drawers contained an anti-worm agent, which says something about hygiene at that time.

Here we will have a cup of coffee/tea and piece of flan.

Around noon we will go to restaurant De Zwaan for lunch. After that you will have free time in Oirschot.

Water tower and asparagus farm Noordam

Today we are going to Watertoren Werkhoven and Aspergehof Noordam. We start at the Water Tower where we will have a cup of coffee/tea with cake and a guided tour.
A visit to the Water Tower is definitely worthwhile! On the first floor there is the terrace/atelier and via the elevator we can go all the way up, where we get explanations about the operation of a water tower. Here you have beautiful views.

Around noon we head to Aspergehof Noordam. In the yard you will find the attractive farm store.


Asparagus comes fresh from the land, cut early in the morning and on your plate in the evening. An extensive assortment of white and green asparagus in all sizes and shapes are offered in the refrigerated display cases.
Here, of course, we eat lunch.

3-day Arcen

Tuesday, June 10 to Thursday, June 12

Day 1:
We start at Helmond Castle Where we will have coffee or tea with pastries. Helmond Castle has stood in the center of Helmond for nearly 700 years. This city castle tells its own special, centuries-old story about noble families - power, love, war and ... deceit.
Then we drive to Inn The Brabant Vault, a great inn with farm belonging to the adjacent monastery. In Brabant they also call a monastery a hermitage. The inn anno 1850 is really beautiful, the calves of the monastery farm you can just see from the restaurant. In the convent garden there is even a Maria Grotto, here you can walk to and light a candle, for example. We have a 12-hour snack with soup and at the end of the afternoon we continue to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day two:
Today we visit The Kingfisher. It is housed in a restored working water mill, located in the nature reserve Barbara's Weerd; The Wijmarsche Watermolen.

An old water mill revives. A centuries-old water mill building houses an atmospheric pouring room with a rustic terrace. Jenever, bitters, herbal bitters and liqueurs are distilled. Here we take a guided tour and have lunch and a guided tour. In Arcen you still have free time.

Day 3:
On the last day of our trip, we visit the DAF Museum. This one focuses on the history of Van Doorne's Automobiel Fabriek, DAF for short. Of course, you will find many DAF vehicles, sports cars and prototypes, such as the "royal beach car.

Of course, there is an opportunity to visit the Expo up there (not included).Around noon we head to the Pampus Quay. There our boat is already waiting for a two-hour cruise. Of course, we will have lunch here.

Gardens of Gorssel

Saturday, Aug. 2

It is time again to visit gardens. We start at De Hoefslag where we get a guided tour and of course a cup of coffee or tea with some goodies.

The garden covers an area of about 3,700 square meters and consists of undulating borders along a meandering lawn. Many grasses and natural-looking groups of perennials provide a sense of space and tranquility. From several walkways and seating areas, the vistas are exciting each time.

Then we will proceed to (tea) garden The Honeysuckle where we also have lunch. The garden has an area of over one and a half acres, consisting of forest and an indoor and an outdoor garden. The indoor garden has several borders with perennials and shrubs, spring and summer bulbs and roses. The outdoor garden is landscaped with shrub borders, an orchard, vegetable garden and a large 500-square-meter pond. The many seating areas offer unique views of the garden.

Finally, we visit In the Garden of Dorth. Here, only ecological gardening is practiced. That is, no fertilizers and pesticides are used.

Those in love with life grant life to everyone ... so too to animals ... even if at some point it causes "nuisance. For example, the mole is allowed to make molehills in the lawn. The rabbits, foxes and deer have free access to the garden.

Again, we are given a cup of coffee or tea and a tour.

Spakenburg Days

The women in costume are still a daily, familiar sight. On these days, many men and especially many children are also dressed in the old costume again, allowing the inhabitants to relive the old culture together.

That will be another enjoyable day of cultural history, music, an attractive stage program and, of course, a grand fair.

Sail Inn Amsterdam

Sail Experience Amsterdam

3-day Ruurlo

Tuesday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, Sept. 25

Day 1:
We arrive at the Guild Cafe where we start with a cup of coffee or tea with pastries. Then we will proceed to the  Mustard and vinegar factory/museum for a demonstration. In 1974, this little factory was expanded to include a museum. From various vanished mustard factories you can view old mustard mills with accompanying factory-ready equipment. Be amazed by how "farm" mustard is still made today in the old-fashioned way.

Around noon, we return to the Guild Gafé for lunch.
Then we visit the Teapot Museum in Aalten. Here you will find thousands of improbably imaginative teapots. Collectibles and real works of art, not intended for use.

For our first overnight stay, we will go to Hotel Avenarius.

Day 2:
After breakfast we will go to Forest Restaurant Joppe for a cup of coffee/tea, a guided tour, a lawyer tasting and lunch.
In Ruurlo you will still have free time.

Day 3:
In the morning we will go to the Orange Museum and here we will have a cup of coffee/tea with Amalia pastries.
Around noon we will enjoy another hot lunch at restaurant De Weistaar and then we will prepare for the return trip.

Museum Oud-Oosterhout

Wednesday, Oct. 8

We will start at Museum Oud Oosterhout where we will have a guided tour and a cup of coffee/tea with something sweet.

Inside the museum, you immediately imagine yourself in the early 1900s. The museum consists of several rooms and each room depicts a theme. From a living room and a printing house from 1916 on the first floor to a small school on the second floor, among others.

The walking route through the park follows the track of the old streetcar line that ran through Oosterhout in those days. Even if you come from outside Oosterhout, the miniature park is particularly fun to watch. You get a good idea of how people lived in Brabant in the year 1900.

Around noon, we leave for Boswachter Liesbosch for a 3-course meal.

Garden Days Beervelde (Belgium)

An atmosphere, a cozy getaway, a place where garden friends meet in a natural setting.

With its 240 participants and more than 20,000 visitors, the Garden Days at Beervelde Park have become a household word for garden fair enthusiasts on a European level. In mid-October, the park is a treasure trove for the most demanding plant lovers. This event also offers its visitors, together with musical entertainment, a wide choice of decoration and antiques for the garden and its surroundings.

Paleis het Loo and "The Pans.

Wednesday, Dec. 3 and Thursday, Dec. 4

We visit Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn which is completely in Christmas atmosphere.

The palace was occupied by members of the Royal Family of the Netherlands until 1975. Since 1984 it has been open to the public as National Museum Paleis het Loo and exhibitions are held there. In the brasserie of the palace, we get coffee or tea with some goodies.

Of course, we will again enjoy the delicious dishes there at Kriebelz Brasserie. There the pans are already waiting for us.

Christmas market Münster (Germany)

This historic city, just a stone's throw from the Dutch border, offers one of the most atmospheric Christmas markets in all of Germany. Feel the magic of Christmas as soon as we drive into town. Ideal for a day out. Münster has as many as five different Christmas markets with about 300 stalls.

It is a traditional Christmas market where you can stroll.

Light Festival Amsterdam

Executed day trip

The Light Festival is now taking place in Amsterdam for the thirteenth time. In winter, the place is fantastically lit up.

From Amsterdam-North, we sail in two canal boats via the IJ, towards the Amstel River for a stunning cruise. Along the way we see the beautiful light art works in and around the canals of Amsterdam. A unique experience.

During this season of the Light Festival, you will be taken into the world of rituals. These have always been associated with all kinds of transformations: from past to future, from winter to summer and from youth to adulthood.
